Douglas McKelvie
Douglas is a senior associate of Symmetric SD. He worked in social work for over 20 years, including 10 years as an adviser / principal adviser for the UK public body charged with regulation of social work education and development of the social care workforce. Now an independent consultant, he is an expert in System Dynamics and Excel based modelling within the public sector and has worked on a number of initiatives at the interface between health and social care planning, modelling new service development strategies, and workforce planning.

This paper, co authored by Professor Eric Wolstenholme describes the potential for System Dynamics in the Health and Social Care environments.
